As a couple, Leo and I have never owned a bed…so, it might be just about time.  Here are a few options I like.  The above is from Crate and Barrel ($1,599.00).

I love nailhead details, and I’ve been admiring this bed for a long time, also from Crate and Barrel ($1,599.00).

I love all these minimal rooms.  We have been on the hunt for a bed for a while now, and I love the simplicity of all of these shots.

turq_bench.jpg

Our bedroom is a bit oversized, and we don’t have much to fill it with at the moment, but I’m loving this picture.  The turq color is great, and I love that it’s cozied by the furry throw.

Here is Joey with our new Windermere bedding from Anthropologie. I love how bold it is (to balance out the fact that I painted the walls pink, a neutral pink…). I’ll post some pics of the wall colors soon!

livingroom_31.jpg

The following are some pictures we took while walking through our house inspection. Here is the first room you see upon entering, we are planning on using it as a living room. We are planning on pulling out all of the carpet and giving the room a good coat of paint.

Another living room shot.

View from the living room into the dining room. We are thinking about exposing the brick in the stairwell.

kitchen.jpg

The kitchen. It’s pretty good to start with but we are hoping to redo it in a much more modern style.

backyard.jpg

Here is the backyard. It’s really huge and we are super excited about fixing it up and maybe even adding some grass!

Bedroom #1, the green carpet has got to go. This will serve as an office.

fishtown_closet.jpg

Fishtown is know for these tiny little closets, you are supposed to hang your clothes sideways. This closet is one of two in the master bedroom. It’ll make for a good closet for small items.

And here is the biggest project in the house, the master bath. I think the color and the ceiling are the biggest design flaws. Once we fix those elements it will be easier to work through the rest.

drop_ceiling.jpg

Every house in the area has one, the drop ceiling. Luckily the bathroom is the only room in the house to have it. It’s going to be the first thing to go.

Bedroom #3, this here is the last of my intro pictures. We are planning on turning this room into a media room.
